Five Oaks is an eclectic neighborhood with tree lined streets, old world charm and wonderful architectural features. This classic 1920's neighborhood is one of the true gems of the Dayton area. The larger area of Five Oaks consists of several small neighborhoods, each with its own unique style and architecture.
Most Five Oaks homes feature original oak woodwork, built-in pantries and bookcases, hardwood floors, fireplaces, french doors, and grand front porches. Architectural styles include Arts and Crafts, Prairie, Bungalows, Revival, Georgian, Tudor and Colonial.
The Neighborhood is the new home of the award winning "Stivers School for the Arts" and is the long time home of Corpus Christi Church and the Homewood campus of "Mary Queen of Peace" elementary school.
A Local Historic Survey for the Five Oaks area is in process. This survey is supported and funded by the City of Dayton. Five Oaks also includes Dayton's latest Historic District in the Kenilworth neighborhood area.
